MYEISHA was founded in 2015 and creates high-end leather handbags that are predominantly handmade from Namibian and African leathers. These bags represent the values of honesty and appreciation, of true value and love. This notion of value resonates within the heart of all that MYEISHA stands for.

This value is further reflected in the men and women working in the workshop on Faraday Street in Windhoek – they are creative and skilled artisans that come from all walks of life. Here they are educated and trained in the various areas of leather crafting and manufacturing.

MYEISHA steht nicht nur für hochqualitative, handgemachte, wunderschöne Handtaschen. Es ist auch ein Zufluchtsort für die Mitarbeiter, die ohne großen Perspektiven in die „MYEISHA-Familie“ aufgenommen werden, um am deren persönlichen „besseren Morgen“ zu arbeiten. Durch die Möglichkeit der Ausbildung im Bereich der Handtaschen-Herstellung wird nicht nur die finanzielle Lage der vom Leben benachteiligten Menschen verbessert, sondern auch durch die neuen Fähigkeiten wird ihr Selbstwertgefühl gestärkt. In Sandra Baumeister haben die Mitarbeiter von MYEISHA nicht nur eine Mentorin, sondern auch eine Freundin, die sie in jeder Lebenslage unterstützt. Somit hat jede Tasche, die von MYEISHA designt und genäht wird, einen viel höheren Wert, als den, den man für sie bezahlt.
